Review:
I received a sample of this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Have you ever used duct tape?  Man that stuff works so well.  Hold on to your hats because gaffer tape is the next level.

I was surprised by how well this tape holds on and stays put.  It is durable and flexible.  More cloth-like than duct tape.  Plus if you need to move whatever you've taped down, like computer cables, the gaffer tape will come up cleanly.  None of that sticky mess from duct tape.

I also like that it is non-reflective.  Wrap it around a cord on your outdoor holiday lights and standing back you won't see it.   Since there are a fair number of us who hang the holiday lights by ourselves, gaffer tape tears easily.  And the best part, when you're done with those lights and the tape needs to come up it will!

Using it around the house has been a life saver.  I've been using gaffer tape instead of the old stand-by duct tape.  Gaffer tape has worked really well for closing up a gap in the coating on an extension cord.  I feel comfortable continuing to use that cord.  If you're in need of duct tape, pass it on by and try this gaffer tape.  I believe you'll be pleased with the results.

Kidecals - Product Review

Kidecals are personalized labels that are dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer safe!  Plus they stick to any surface! You can use these stickers on clothing, backpacks, tupperware, devices...you name it. If you don't need any name labels, there are still plenty of options to choose from for both kids and adults! We offer keyboard stickers canning/baking labels, chalkboard labels, and much more!

Review:

I received a package of these labels for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

The labels exceeded my expectations.  I went to Kidecals website and browsed through the multitude of options available.  They are all customizable.  I chose an owl with just our last name similar to this:
I left off the phone number and moved the name down just a bit.

I decided on just the last name and a gender neutral design.  I can use these on anything for anyone in our family.  I have stuck a couple on my sons' water bottles they carry to school.  The labels have been outstanding.  They have not shown any signs of peeling off the bottles and they haven't faded even after going through the dishwasher a few times.

I have not tried them on fabric as of yet.  Once we get into colder weather, I plan on using these labels on winter coats, hats, and maybe gloves.  My boys loved the cute owl.  My oldest wanted several of the other designs.  There are so many to choose from!

If you've been disappointed in the past with labels that just don't stand up to every day use, then do yourself a favor and invest in these labels.  You get quite a few for the price so they are a reasonable value.  Plus they're made in the USA.  All good things from my view point.

Kidecals website is easy to use, shipping is free, and if you sign up for their newsletter you receive 15% off your first purchase.

How to be Manly - Book Tour and Giveaway

Howtobemanlybabber

How To Be ManlyWhen Fatty Matty Sullivan finds a self-help book by former football great Tad Manly at a yard sale, he secretly starts following the old pro’s advice to get in shape and get the girl. Summer goals: lose the milkshake weight, join the football team, and turn himself into the kind of guy super hot Cassie Bale will love.

But between taking care of his grandfather, trying to pass remedial Algebra, and getting caught up in his friend Jester’s half-baked weed-dealing schemes, Matty’s summer isn’t quite the game-changer he’d planned. When on top of it all his dad moves back in with his own plans to get rich quick, Matty suddenly has much bigger things to worry about than football and whether or not Cassie’s going to call him back. And it turns out that there might be more to being manly than he thought.

Maureen O’Leary Wanket’s debut is a sharp, comic novel about trying to do the right thing… even when you’re not sure what that is.

Drink Duets - Product Review

Fun and Functional - Drink Duets  Bottle Tags -  Colorful, soft, reusable tags which you slip over the neck of a bottled beverage.  They come in 12 different colors and can also be written on with a sharpie or stick on initials if having different colors isn't enough to differentiate.
The result:  saving money on  drinks (water, beer soda, sport drinks), saving time and trips to the grocery store, and no more spreading of germs by accidentally sharing bottles.     Great for the Drink Cooler too at the  beach, tailgating, picnic or sports field! No more soccer field sideline confusion!

We also have Glass Skirts  ( 8 per pkg) made of the same material that spiral around the stem of a wine glass. Perfect complement to the bottle tags at your next Get Together.  Pretty and  Practical - so much cuter than traditional Wine Charms.

Available at www.DrinkDuets.com by the pack or inquire about our custom and bulk ordering for fundraising.  Retailers listed on our site as well.

Review:
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

These little tags are a spectacular idea!  They're made from craft foam making them light, small, and so very easy to pack.    If you've got a big gathering during the upcoming holidays, these will be just the item to take with you.

We used these when our family went to the beach.  We each had a water bottle that we kept refilling and we each put a different colored tag on them.  Our boys really enjoyed being able to write their names on the tags and keeping up with which bottle was their own.  This also helped mom and dad not have to listen to more bickering!

There are 12 different color tags in a package of the bottle tags and 8 colors in the Glass Skirts package.  They are reasonably priced at $4.50 each package for bottle tags or the glass skirts.  If you need a bulk order, they will work with you on that as well as personalization.  So if you've got a large family gathering to go to or something like a youth lock-in, these would help cut down on confusion about water bottles and to whom they belong.

We've really enjoyed using the Drink Duets.  They're fun colors, made in the USA by a mom-trepreneur in NY, and they're easy to use.  Save yourself a headache while on vacation or in a big group with these bottle tags.

And when you buy 2 packages you can get the 3rd one free with the code, DD3.  And as always, free shipping!
