Bamboo Cutting Boards - Product Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I received this set of three cutting boards for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have enjoyed using these cutting boards.  The are three sizes in the set.  So far we have used the smallest one the most.  It's great for chopping a cucumber or tomato or slicing a small loaf of bread.

The bigger ones have been great when I've been prepping supper.  Especially if there's been multiple ingredients in the recipe.  I have been able to use the largest board to chop many items and then just scrape them all into the pan to cook.

The set comes with the card you see in the picture.  It has their website where you can download a free e-cookbook.  I have not tried any of the recipes yet but many look very tasty!  I'm especially keen to try their Zingy Thai Chicken Salad!  The card also suggests to hand wash and periodically oil the boards.

After the first time we washed them, the grain did stand up some which surprised me since these are bamboo.  My husband was able to quickly smooth the boards with a fine sandpaper.  We have other wooden cutting boards so we already had a bottle of oil specific to wood and bamboo.  And it came from one of the big box stores so it's easy to come by.  So other than a little upkeep these boards have been wonderful to use.  I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

You can find these bamboo cutting boards on Amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
